While in Vancouver for Christmas, Rowan sent this postcard to Uncle Leo and Auntie Maggie in Hong Kong. On the postcard, he drew what he calls a "happy shark," modeled after one that Baba drew for him with bulging eyes and what is supposed to be a grin. He also wrote "Love Rowan" in capital letters, though I swear I'm trying to teach him lower case letters. Rowan also drew some water (the wavy lines at the top and bottom of the card) and what I believe are the posterior and anterior dorsals, along with the top part of the tail...and 3 out of 5 gills. Pretty darn good.
