Alright, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. But I have good excuses for not updating the blog lately, which I'll explain later. In the meantime, here's a few older photos I forgot to post, starting with the above family shot in the living room of our OLD place.

Rowan loves to swing! Ever since his bottom touched the hard, but pliant seat he has exclaimed in tones of excessive joy how much he loves swinging. What I love about this picture is that the yellow hat he's wearing (which protects against UV rays--go Sweden) is way to small for his giant head. And of course, the tassels on his pants combined with the green Mary Janes complete the ensemble.

Another swing photo--Rowan high-fives Daddy, wearing his sun glasses and using no hands to hold on to the seat. Yes, Rowan can high-five with the best of 'em. On this day, Daddy lost his glasses, then found them again--slightly mangled. He now has brand new glasses, thanks to the little Hebrew joint on Touhy.

One of Rowan's cooler moments, totally at ease in the swing, leaning forward, head toward the camera, shades in perfect order, like he was born to do this. Lately, however, his swinging style has changed to grasping onto the seat in white-knuckled concentration. There is no way in hell he is gonna fall out of the seat, no matter how high he goes. Still, it's always nice to look back at the carefree Rowan of yesterday, swinging without self-consciousness, without fear, without shoes.
